iMPROve Health is proud to announce the winners of its second annual Enhancing Community Well-Being Grant program. This program awards a total of $300,000 to organizations working in one of five key areas: social determinants of health, healthcare access, addressing a specific disparity or inequity, enhancing patient safety, or patient-centered care.
In its second year, the program was opened to nonprofit organizations across the nation.
This program reflects iMPROve Health’s dedication to creating healthier communities through thoughtful partnerships, innovative solutions, and intentional funding. The Enhancing Community Well-Being Grant program continues to grow as an annual investment in organizations making a difference.
The grant is competitive and invitation-only. Organizations are nominated by members of iMPROve Health’s staff or board and selected based on the impact, innovation, and equity focus of their proposals.
Each award supports a one-year project with individual grants of $100,000. This year’s selected organizations and projects:

Northern Michigan Children’s Assessment Center provides trauma-informed services that support children and families affected by abuse and neglect, offering advocacy, therapy, forensic interviews, and coordinated care in a safe, child-focused environment.
The Enhancing Community Well-Being Grant is part of iMPROve Health’s mission to promote health equity and population health through strategic partnerships, data-informed solutions, and local investment. The organization plans to offer this grant opportunity annually to continue building stronger, healthier Michigan communities.
