Leland Babitch, MD, MBA, FAAP, FACHE
President & Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Leland Babitch serves as iMPROve Health’s President & Chief Executive Officer, leading the organization’s strategic direction, operations, and mission-driven initiatives to improve healthcare quality, access, and equity. Under his leadership, iMPROve Health has expanded its national presence as a trusted partner to federal and state agencies, Medicaid programs, health plans, providers, and healthcare organizations nationwide.
A board-certified pediatrician and nationally recognized leader in clinical informatics, Dr. Babitch brings more than 20 years of experience in health information technology, compliance, medical management, and strategic planning. His career includes executive leadership roles at the Detroit Medical Center, UnitedHealthcare Community & State, and the Advisory Board’s Clinovations division. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Healthcare Executives and currently serves as President of the American Health Quality Association. Dr. Babitch also continues to teach and practice pediatrics as an adjunct assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Babitch earned a Bachelor of Arts in Genetics and Developmental Biology from Northwestern University, a Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University, and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University.
